Bubba Burcham played College Football at the University of Oklahoma from 1996-2000. In 2000 he was a team captain when the Sooners won the BCS National Title. He has since coached college and high school football. Recently Bubba was the Head Coach at Coweta High School in OK. In 2008 we were 5A-4 District Champs and I was voted Coach of the Year for the District. In December of 2013 he stepped down as the Head Coach to pursue other forms of leadership to men.
In January of 2012, Bubba started a men’s group/bible study out of the football locker-room. It was open to the community. They have been meeting consistently since averaging 10-20 men each week. He currently lead 2 groups a week, speaks at men’s breakfasts, churches, and at conferences (most notably Rewired Men’s Retreat).
Bubba has a passion to see men change their community through discipleship in the church. [ctt tweet=”We are missing a generation of men by not connecting them to mentors and coaches. ~Bubba Burcham” coverup=”5bdsT”]
