JLA Ministries (DadPad/DadPOD)
Ministering at the corner of Fatherhood and Manhood. Every father is a man (despite what society is saying) but not every man is a father, literally and figuratively. JLA Ministries believes that if we equip, encourage and educate (aka disciple) men, especially young men to live their faith out loud in every aspect of their lives, the ills of our culture would be significantly diminished.
What if Adam had spoken up in the garden? What if David had not followed the lust of his eyes? What would have happened if you and I walked in the power of God’s Spirit that fully envelopes the soul of a true Follower of Christ? What would life look like? How many divorces would be avoided? How many children would grow up knowing they are loved by their heavenly Father because they were loved well by their earthly father? The mission of JLA Ministries is to share that hope with young (and old) men alike to challenge them to grapple and wrestle with who they are in Christ and then, when they are tired of wrestling they will come to the same conclusion that the Psalmist did, “Where else would I go?” Mentoring through media and meeting. That’s what JLA Ministries does.
Jeff Abramovitz leads this ministry through his blog at DadPad (helping dads see their significance in the health of their home), his DadPOD podcast (mostly interviews with other men who have been there and done that and can help encourage listeners in their walk with Christ and local group and individual mentoring of young men and dads and sons.
